| Annotation: | In this seminar, Erik Stadnik will discuss ways to teach and practice English pronunciation, look at some of the hardest sounds for learners of English to master, and suggest ideas and techniques for improving pronunciation lessons or adding more pronunciation practice into our teaching. This will include a discussion of accents, word stress, and other vocal qualities of English. There will be significant amount of time spent on group activities and discussion. The entire seminar will be conducted in English. Erik Stadnik has been lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering of Czech Technical University since 2018, teaching a variety of English language and communication courses. He is a native English speaker and has B.A. from St. John's College in Maryland, USA. |
